Jagadguru Dr. Sri Shivarathri Rajendra Mahaswamiji, the 23rdPontiff of Sri Jagadguru Veerasimhasana Suttur Math, is the architect and founder of JSS Mahavidyapeetha (JSSMVP) which came into being in 1954 has witnessed enormous growth in the field of education.
A young child who joins a JSS Institution seeking education may go on to become a scientist or an engineer, or a technologist or a doctor or a philosopher. JSSMVP thus has all the facilities that shape the youngster into a good citizen of the country.
Under the leadership of the present pontiff, the 24thPeetadhayaksha, Jagadguru Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Mahaswamiji, the JSSMVP has not only established educational institutions in places where necessary, but it has also made sure that all these institutions impart quality education.
Engineering, Medical, Dental, Pharmacy, and Law Colleges run by JSSMVP are reputed to be the best educational institutions of their kind in the country. JSSMVP has more than 350 institutions in its umbrella spread across the country and beyond.
JSSMVP has expanded its jurisdiction by establishing another Mahavidyapeetha at Ghaziabad, UP, which is running an Engineering College, JSSATE, and Public School in Noida. JSSATE is one of the leading technical education institutions in the NCR in the state of Uttar Pradesh.
JSSMVP has started College of Pharmacy in the JSSATE Campus, Noida from the academic year 2019-20 with a vision to provide quality education in Pharmacy and to produce quality Pharmacists to serve the country. JSSMVP has vast experience in the field of Pharmacy education. Among top 10 Pharmacy Colleges in India. Two are run by JSSMVP viz: JSS College of Pharmacy, Mysore (Est.1973) and JSS College of Pharmacy, Ooty, Tamilnadu (Estd.1980) and are ranked as top 7th and 9th Pharmacy Colleges in India respectively by NIRF 2021. Both the colleges are ISO certified, NBA accredited, and Certified by ACPE (Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education), the USA for their excellent Teaching and Research activities.
